I am very aware of the problems with Internet security and I research everything that I put on my Webpages. There is nothing malicious here and no tracking data is kept. Just a few session cookies.
I've used ZoneAlarm firewall, anti-virus & anti-spyware, Norton AntiVirus 2005, & PestPatrol anti-spyware and haven't had a problem but I've had a user tell me that some pages of this site won't work with Norton Internet Security. Why some pages work and others don't is a mystery to me. I'm sure there is a way to set the software so all of the pages would work but, without having this program, I wouldn't know how.
The hope of most webmasters is that all users could experience their creation regardless of operating systems/browsers/anti-virus/anti-spyware software but, in order to carry the content that makes this site interesting, compromises have had to be made. The site was developed with the most popular browser at the time, IE 6, as the model and is fully valid CSS & HTML 4.01 Transitional according to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) authority. All other browsers could implement CSS/HTML incorrectly (FireFox) which will, therefore, render my pages incorrectly.
